Exhibitor Insurance Requirements
Exhibitor Insurance Requirements
All exhibitors participating in HPBExpo27 are required to maintain insurance coverage and provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) as a condition of exhibiting.
Required Coverage
Exhibitors must maintain Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance with minimum limits of:
- $1,000,000 Each Occurrence
- $2,000,000 General Aggregate
Exhibitors who do not maintain the required Commercial General Liability insurance may purchase temporary exhibitor liability coverage through RainProtection. This coverage is offered as a convenience and is not required if the exhibitor already maintains qualifying insurance.
In addition, exhibitors must maintain Workers’ Compensation insurance as required by applicable law, and Employer’s Liability insurance where applicable. Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to maintain property insurance covering exhibit materials, displays, products, and other property brought to the event.
Additional Insured Requirement
The Certificate of Insurance must name the following as Additional Insureds:
Music City Center – Nashville and Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA), including its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, affiliates, subsidiaries, and representatives.
Certificate Holder
Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association | 2000 14th Street, Ste. 300 | Arlington, VA 22201
Submission Requirements
A Certificate of Insurance must be submitted to HPBA no later than January 4, 2027.
Certificates may be submitted by email to: exhibits@hpba.org
Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring that coverage remains in effect throughout move-in, show days, and move-out.
Questions
Questions regarding insurance requirements may be directed to: exhibits@hpba.org
Failure to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance by the required deadline may result in delays to move-in, denial of exhibit installation, or loss of the right to exhibit until acceptable proof of insurance has been received.
