What is the Log Splitting Contest?
The Log Splitting Contest is a hands-on, high-energy competition where participants go head-to-head splitting logs for speed and precision.
Competitors will draft their wood, compete in rounds, and battle for a spot in the final showdown — all in front of a live audience.
Whether you split wood every weekend or you’re picking up an axe for the first time, this event is all about fun, friendly competition, and serious bragging rights.
How It Works
1. Sign Up in Advance
Space is limited. Participants will be selected from advance sign-ups.
2. Pick Your Wood
Just like a fantasy draft, but with logs. Before the competition begins, each competitor will take turns selecting four (4) pieces of wood from the available pile. Pick carefully: your wood choices can make all the difference.
3. Compete in Rounds
Three rounds of head-to-head competition will narrow the field and determine who moves on to the final showdown.
4. Final Showdown
Top competitors go head-to-head.
All equipment will be provided. Required safety gear must be worn.
