Bio

Jill McClure is the President & CEO of the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA), leading the North American voice for the hearth, barbecue, and outdoor living industries.

She has held executive roles across multiple sectors, including a national retail association and the oil and gas industry, where she ran the nation’s largest and longest-running natural gas conference. She also led collaboration and innovation at the Texas Association of School Boards, the largest association of its kind.

A former Fortune 500 consultant for clients like Dell, Motorola, and Freescale, McClure also taught marketing and convention management as an adjunct professor in Austin. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s in communications and broadcasting. Named an ASAE Association Innovator, she has been a Certified Association Executive since 2012.

McClure lives in the Washington, D.C. area where she enjoys being a mom to two teenagers and three Corgis.
