The National Fireplace Institute® (NFI) will offer review courses and exams across all certification categories, and the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) will host review courses and exams for the Certified Chimney Sweep® designation.
NFI Certification at HPBExpo26
Each year at HPBExpo, the National Fireplace Institute® (NFI) offers in-person review courses, with the option to take the certification exam on-site.
NFI is the professional certification division of the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Education Foundation (HPBEF). Its mission is to promote public safety by establishing recognized credentials for professionals who plan and install residential hearth appliances and venting systems.
NFI certifies planners and installers in four hearth product categories:
• NFI Gas Specialist
• NFI Woodburning Specialist
• NFI Pellet Specialist
• NFI Hearth Design Specialist

CSIA Certification at HPBExpo26
The Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) will host review courses and exams for the Certified Chimney Sweep® designation.
This live, one-day review covers content in the Chimney and Venting Essentials Manual, assisting candidates in completing the CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep® exam to become a CSIA Certified Sweep® (CCS®). Becoming a certified sweep demonstrates expertise and professionalism, giving you a competitive edge in the market.
