The HPBExpo 2017 Online Press Room brought 7,000 visitors to exhibitors’ company profiles that participated! Entirely different than your show guide profile for retailer, distributor, and other general HPBExpo attendees, the Online Press Room is your opportunity to tell media about your brand and products.

The user-friendly exhibitor portal is where you’ll be able to upload press releases, videos, and other media materials. Stop competing with the hundreds of other one-off promotions reporters receive, and illustrate how your company has an important role to play in the industry(s) you serve overall. HPBA’s Communications Team will be promoting attending HPBExpo on an ongoing basis throughout its general outreach to reporters on fireplace, stove, heater, barbecue, and outdoor living stories. HPBA staff will also be doing additional media pushes on January 3, January 23, February 6, and February 20, so be sure to have your exhibitor profile created and updated regularly! Don’t miss out the chance to cut through the PR clutter and be noticed by the hundreds of outlets that HPBA will pitch to on your behalf.

Press Record Tips
Below are some ways that you can best resonate with media who may be reading your company profile.

  • Highlight why your company is a resource for stories on emerging trends and new products.
  • Ensure the listed staff contact is who you would like the media to contact directly.
  • Discuss your products by specific categories, or if referring to the general industry, use fireplace, stove, and heater instead. It’s been HPBA’s experience that the term “hearth” confuses media because it is more of an inside-the-industry term.

New American Home
HPBA supports the National Association of Home Builders by connecting HPBExpo exhibitors to the opportunity to be in the 2019 New American Home. Opt in to have your products featured in one of these two show homes simply by checking off that you’d like to participate within the Online Press Room. HPBA’s Communications Department will then share your interest with NAHB, and if your product matches design plans set by the builders and architects, we’ll set up a time for the New American Home team to stop by your booth.

Login for the Online Press Room is easy; since it’s the same HPBA member ID / company ID you use to register for HPBExpo badges! This number can be located on your booth invoice–or contact HPBA show management if you are unable to locate it.
